Having Trouble Registering For inCircle?

If you have attempted to login to inCircle for the first time, and are receiving a “your credentials are invalid” message, read on:
 
If you receive an error or if the auto response deems your "credentials invalid," you may have chosen under the provisions of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA) to put a restriction on your university file. This may have been done when you were a student at the University. 

Because you have a FERPA restriction, a block on the release or transmission of your “directory information” currently is in force.  Therefore, by Federal Law, we are unable to grant you registration access to inCircle, UC’s Alumni Online Community. 
 
If you would like to change your status with the University and remove your FERPA restriction, you can do so by contacting Jennifer Heisey at the UC Alumni Association who will provide you with a form to complete and your record will then be approved to register for inCircle.
