Thank you for joining us at the Class of ’59 Reunion Weekend!

UC alumni have a lot to be proud of!

Dear Class of 1959:

It may be hard to believe, but 2009 will mark 50 years since you graduated from the University of Cincinnati. A golden anniversary is a tremendous cause for celebration … For the Class of ’59, it’s also an opportunity to return to our old stomping grounds, reconnect with good friends, and reflect on becoming Bearcats.

That’s the plan for your 50th Reunion Weekend, to be held Friday and Saturday, May 15-16, 2009. It will be part of our annual Alumni Weekend festivities, and I encourage you to save the date, touch base with your college pals, and make plans to join the fun as you celebrate your lifelong relationship with UC. More details will follow soon, including reservation information.

As you probably know, the biggest constant at UC in recent times has been “change.”  Some of campus looks the same as when you were in school, but a lot is very different.  This 50-year reunion offers the chance to explore the old and the new, and re•discover why UC holds such a special place in our lives.

Successful reunions are shaped and driven by the passion of the alumni involved, and your reunion is no different. In fact, it will be a volunteer-centered event, which means we’re actively seeking alums who want to lead this effort on behalf of their classmates. If you’d like to talk about this unique opportunity for yourself, and maybe consider inviting some of your Class of ’59 friends to join you, please let us know soon.

To learn more about the Reunion Committee, contact the UC Alumni Association at 513-556-4344 locally, or 1-877-4-UC-ALUM toll-free. The committee will meet frequently in the months ahead and work closely with the UC Alumni Association staff to coordinate this great event.

Again, save the date now, please consider getting involved upfront, and we hope to see you this spring!

Go Bearcats!
