Homecoming
The Student Alumni Council partners with the Alumni Association to host the annual Homecoming festivities. SAC helps organize the events during Homecoming week, the Homecoming parade, and the King and Queen selection process.

Sibs Weekend
The Student Alumni Council is instrumental in planning and staging the annual Sibs Weekend, inviting students to bring their siblings on campus for a weekend of activities.

The Red & Black Book
Each year, the Student Alumni Council publishes The Red & Black book, which showcases UC pride and tradition by describing our university’s history, campus events and current happenings, athletics and spirit, and on- and off-campus places. The Red & Black is distributed free to all incoming freshmen attending Fall Convocation.

Crosstown Helpout
The Student Alumni Council is a key participant in the Crosstown Helpout, an annual community service event staged jointly by the alumni associations of the University of Cincinnati and Xavier University. In recent years, volunteers from each school have collaborated to build neighborhood playgrounds in the Cincinnati area.

Bearcat Blitzes
Bearcat Blitzes are the UC Alumni Association’s festive pre-game tailgates held prior to every home football game at Nippert Stadium. Every Student Alumni Council member works at least two Bearcat Blitzes each fall, where they will help with set-up and tear-down, event logistics, and alumni relations throughout the day.

Banner/Pennant Days
Every year SAC plans and stages Banner Day in conjunction with a fall football game, and Pennant Day in conjunction with a spring baseball game. These events enable UC students to design “spirit signage” to be showcased at the stadiums.
