DAAP Studios: Meddling with Nature

Join fellow alumni and current DAAP students for a special workshop with local taxidermy group: Meddling with Nature.”

Join us for a special workshop with local taxidermy group: Meddling with Nature. If you’re interested in honing in on your abilities of representing the anatomy of human (and non-human!) form, you won’t want to miss this interactive workshop. Osteological and preserved specimens will be available for inspection, reference, and comparison as you draw or sculpt and hear from taxidermy master, Jeremy Johnson. Participants will be encouraged to engage in the material, ask questions, and help create a dynamic approach to the study of comparative anatomy! If you're a curious and adventurous artist, this is for you.

Please bring your drawing or sculpting material of choice!

This workshop does include dissection of actual specimens, please be advised that some may consider this graphic. Reference photography for personal use is also encouraged.
