UC-Cincinnati Museum Center Exhibit Teaser Event
Enjoy a Sneak Peek at What’s Hot with the College of Arts and Sciences this Fall!
Starting this fall, UC launches a major collaboration with the Cincinnati Museum Center as it undergoes renovations. As part of this exciting new partnership led by the College of Arts and Sciences, the multimedia exhibit “Climate Change and Us,” along with three other exhibits, will be installed across UC’s Clifton campus and open for the public to enjoy.
On September 12, please join us for an exclusive preview tour of “Climate Change and Us” in Tangeman University Center as we hear from College of Arts and Sciences experts who helped produce the exhibit as well as a wide range of faculty and staff who have worked for more than a year to bring the partnership with CMC to life!
Our special preview event offers you a chance to mix and mingle with a range of interdisciplinary experts including those who helped develop the exhibit, which was created by the Cincinnati Museum Center. The exhibit highlights current multi-disciplinary research and discoveries that help explain the effects and causes of global climate change.
After the preview, join us in the TUC Cinema for the CMC Insights lecture: “Uncertain Future: Physical, Biological, and Societal Impacts of Global Climate Change.” The lecture will focus on the physical and social basis and impact of our changing climate and feature UC experts Dr. Tom Lowell (Geology), Dr. Brooke Crowley (Geology/Anthropology) and Dr. Adrian Parr (Political Science/Architecture and Interior Design).
This event also includes an exclusive pre-reception with complimentary food and a cash bar for all alumni of the College of Arts and Sciences.
