Greek Affairs Alumni Council

The mission of the Greek Affairs Alumni Council is to support the undergraduate fraternity and sorority community at the University of Cincinnati and to foster communication between the University and Greek Alumni.

Fraternity & Sorority Life

Fraternity and Sorority Life has a long history of tradition and excellence at the University of Cincinnati, since 1840. UC has been home to over 50 national fraternities and sororities, and more than 22,000 alumni have passed through our community. (Some estimates are that as many as 50,000 alumni have passed through our community.) As a department within the Division of Student Affairs at the University of Cincinnati, the Office of Fraternity & Sorority Life (FSL) is committed to cultivating the intellectual, social, and ethical development of our members. Today, we have 43 active fraternities and sororities, 4 governing councils, and 3 Greek honor societies. Fraternity and Sorority Life helps over 3,100 students find their niche at a large, urban university of over 45,000 students. Hundreds of men and women graduate from UC each year with a richer experience as a result of Fraternity and Sorority Life. For many students, the fraternity and sorority community is their home away from home. Fraternity and Sorority Life builds lifelong friendships and instills a sense of pride and commitment to our alma mater.
