UCAA Board of Governors

The University of Cincinnati Alumni Association is led by a 15-member Board of Governors. The board includes members who are elected at-large, represent college or affinity networks or groups within the UC alumni community, or are part of the staff leadership team on campus.

Troy Neat
Carl H. Lindner College of Business ’91
(Merrill Lynch Wealth Management)

Mr. Neat is a Senior Vice President- Investments with the Neat, Redpath & Spaeth Wealth Management Group at Merrill Lynch. Troy also serves on the UC Blue Ash Dean’s Advisory Board and the UCAA Strategic Planning Committee. Additionally, Troy serves on the Sigma Chi House Corporation as well the Lincoln W. Pavey Educational Foundation. Troy enjoys traveling with his family, golf, and following UC athletics.


Laurence F. Jones, III

Mr. Jones is President of Legacy Investment Funds. He has served on the board of Enjoy the Arts in Cincinnati, Board of Advisors for BGV, Chair for Equity Leadership Team for Fairfield City Schools, Member, International Economic Development Council and Member, Ohio Economic Development Association. His interests include coaching youth sports, motorcycle riding and traveling to sporting events. 


Kim Satzger
College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning ’80 & ’95; McMicken College of Arts & Sciences ’96

Ms. Satzger is President of Gibraltar Development Corp., a consulting company specializing in structuring successful public-private partnerships to achieve public infrastructure, and community and economic development projects. She has served on a variety of professional, public, and non-profit boards and committees in the Cincinnati Area, and, in addition to UCAA, currently serves on the boards of Cincinnati Works and Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park.


Lisa Boh
Chair, Marketing Committee
College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning ’00

Ms. Boh provides strategy and consumer insights for clients ranging from Global 500 to regional and start-up brands. She’s an entrepreneur, a thought leader, and a passionate creative professional skilled in the art of design thinking as a problem-solving methodology.  She is president of the University of Cincinnati DAAP Alumni Governing Board, and an adjunct professor of design at DAAP.


Ruthie Keefe
College of Education, Criminal Justice, and Human Services ’81
(Blue Sky Creative, Inc.)

Ms. Keefe is owner of BlueSky Creative, Inc., a Cincinnati-based, full-service marketing company. She is actively involved in many nonprofit organizations, including SULA (St. Ursula Leadership Alliance) and Lindner Center of HOPE - High Hopes Guild. She and her husband created and chaired The Soul of the City benefiting Our Daily Bread, and she currently chairs Taste of the World benefiting The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Ruthie chairs the UCAA’s Distinguished Alumni Celebration. She loves collegiate and professional sports as well as traveling.  


Robert Ambach
McMicken College of Arts and Sciences ’97

Mr. Ambach is currently the Senior Vice President for Administration and Finance at the University of Cincinnati.  Bob is a double alumnus of UC and holds a B.B.A. in Finance and Real Estate and a Masters in Public Administration and Economic Development.



Todd Barnes
Carl H. Lindner College of Business ’04 

Mr. Barnes is the Director of Internal Audit at the David J. Joseph Co.  He serves as President of the Lindner College of Business Alumni Board of Governors, and as the Alumni Relations Chair of the Lindner Honors-PLUS Advisory Board.  His interests include traveling, boating, following his children’s numerous activities, and cheering on the local sports teams (especially the Bearcats).  Todd and his wife, Christin, reside in Hamilton Twp. with their children, Austin and Cara. 



Marcus Bethay, II

Mr. Bethay is the President of the UCAA African American Alumni Affiliate (4A). Marcus is a Client Strategy Manager at Enquirer Media here in Cincinnati, the Social Action Chair for the Cincinnati chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity leading community partnerships with American Cancer Society, Cincinnati Public Schools and the Cincinnati Police Department. Marcus is a fan of all things Cincinnati sports, Reds, Bengals and of course the Bearcats.

Phyllis Favorite
College of Education, Criminal Justice, and Human Services ’75

Ms. Favorite is a former employee in Residence Life at the Pennsylvania State University in State College, Pa., as well as a former university adviser. Her community involvement in State College includes serving on the board for the Boalsburg Heritage Museum and the Nittany Cooperative, serving as a Pennsylvania scholarship committee member, and performing with a local singing group. She is a past national vice president of the Delta Zeta Sorority. She has been involved in many local community charities and activities, including Toys for Tots, March of Dimes, and Junior Women’s Club. She and her husband, Robert (CEAS ’75), are supporters of UC, UCAA, and Bearcats athletics, including membership in football’s 1200 Club.

Greg Meyer

Mr. Meyer is Director of Client Development for MINIMAL, a Chicago-based product realization and brand incubation consultancy. He has served a wide variety of community service organizations and causes, both in Cincinnati and New England. Greg and his wife, Erica Olandt Meyer (DAAP '97), live in Connecticut with their young son. Having grown up in Cincinnati, Greg is a staunch Bearcats, Bengals and Reds fan.


Matt Schreiber
College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning ’93

Mr. Schreiber is Vice President of Sales and Marketing with gMed, a supplier of Healthcare Information Technology in the physician and ambulatory surgery space. He received two master’s degrees from the New Jersey Institute of Technology. Mr. Schreiber has helped lead UC alumni efforts in both New York City and Hartford, Conn. He currently lives in Florida where his interests include coaching youth sports, follow the Bearcats, and spending time with family and friends.

Rodney M. Grabowski, CFRE
President, UC Foundation;
Vice President for Development & Alumni Relations, University of Cincinnati

Mr. Grabowski has nearly 25 years of fundraising, leadership and management experience plus a record of success in cultivating major gifts. He was previously Senior Associate Vice President for University Advancement and Campaign Director at the University of South Florida where he was responsible for the branding and successful completion of USF’s largest fundraising and outreach effort as well as an annual giving program in excess of $85 million.



Jennifer L. Heisey
Executive Director, UC Alumni Association;
Vice President of Alumni Relations, UC Foundation

McMicken College of Arts and Sciences ’95

Ms. Heisey provides strategic leadership and vision for UCAA while managing the daily operations of alumni staff and volunteers. She works closely with the UC Foundation president to connect with alumni and cultivate development opportunities for the university. Her efforts, along with those of UCAA staff and volunteers, ensure that alumni stay engaged and active in the UC community. She brings more than 15 years of experience to UC from five different higher education institutions where she has developed exemplary leadership, advancement and relationship building skills. Previously she led alumni affairs efforts at the University of Louisville and SUNY College at Buffalo, in addition to serving the UC Alumni Association from 2005 to 2010, including two years as chief operating officer and director of alumni affairs.



Andrew Naab
Student Body President

Mr. Naab is the 2015-2016 Student Body President for Undergraduate Student Government at the University of Cincinnati. He is a fourth year, studying Political Science and Economics out of the Carl H. Lindner College of Business and McMicken College of Arts and Sciences. He has been involved in a variety of other organizations, including Beta Theta Pi Fraternity, the Student Alumni Council, the Student Advisory Committee on the University Budget and the Red and Black Bash Concert Team. He has also worked within the Cincinnati office of United States Senator Rob Portman. Outside of academics and involvement at UC, Andrew enjoys traveling, most recently to Tanzania to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro and volunteering with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Cincinnati.
