Distinguished Alumni Celebration

Each year, the UC Alumni Association hosts the Distinguished Alumni Celebration to recognize and celebrate the many contributions and overall excellence of UC alumni in countless fields of endeavor, throughout the world.

Save the Date for our 2018 event: Thursday, April 12, 2018.

Know a deserving Bearcat?

We are now accepting nominations for UC’s highest alumni awards. This annual process recognizes the tremendous achievement and selflessness throughout UC’s alumni family while celebrating truly outstanding individuals for their profound impact on their university and the lives of others.

If you know outstanding alumni who should be recognized, please nominate online, by mail or email by Friday, Sept. 15.

We are accepting nominations for four alumni awards:

  • The William Howard Taft Medal for Notable Achievement recognizes long-time, outstanding achievement in the person’s chosen field(s). It is UCAA’s highest honor.
  • The Distinguished Service Award recognizes tremendous dedication and service to the university.
  • The Mosaic Award recognizes leadership in fostering inclusiveness, championing the cause of the underrepresented, and promoting greater equity and opportunity for all.
  • The Jeffrey Hurwitz Young Alumni Outstanding Achievement Award recognizes a UC alumnus, up to 35 years of age, for significant professional accomplishment in his/her field, as well as continued service and involvement with the university.

The winner will be announced this fall and will join an impressive roster of previous honorees.
