Buckeyes and Bearcats Day at the Statehouse Highlights

May 16, 2017

The inaugural edition of “Buckeyes and Bearcats Day at the Statehouse” featured University of Cincinnati students, administrators and alumni uniting with their peers and colleagues from Ohio State University at the Columbus Statehouse on May 10, advocating for support of the two institutions. With the event drawing official recognition in both the Ohio House of Representatives and the Ohio Senate, more than 100 advocates held meetings with 75-plus members of the General Assembly to tell their personal stories about how their UC or OSU (and sometimes both!) degrees have made a difference in their lives, allowing them to pursue their passions and make a difference.

If you or someone you know might be interested in participating in a future Alumni Advocate event, please contact Alex Coorey, Director of Alumni Advocacy, at alex.coorey@uc.edu.
