Kuhlman to Lead Alumni Association’s Campus Engagement Efforts
January 17, 2017
Victoria Kuhlman, A&S ’15, has joined the staff of the University of Cincinnati Alumni Association (UCAA) as assistant director of campus engagement. In this role, Kuhlman will develop, implement and evaluate programs that strategically engage and provide tangible benefits to alumni, support current students, and build affinity for the university and UCAA on campus. This includes working closely with a range of student organizations and affinity groups, including the UCAA-affiliated Student Alumni Council (SAC), as well as coordinating such signature student/alumni events as Homecoming, Alumni Weekend, athletics-related programming and Commencement.
“A vibrant link between the UC Alumni Association and our current students is extremely important as we seek to deepen the ‘Bearcat-for-life’ culture, so we are excited to bring Victoria onto our staff,” said Jennifer L. Heisey, ’97, executive director of the UC Alumni Association and vice president of alumni relations for the UC Foundation. “As undergraduates and young alumni, some people just jump out because of their extraordinary passion for the university and desire to grow this spirit in others. That’s been Victoria ever since we’ve known her. She will now apply her talents to a critical area for UCAA and in the life of our university.”
As a third-generation legacy UC student, Kuhlman served as Student Alumni Council president and led the Dinner With 12 Bearcats program as SAC’s vice president of alumni engagement. Since graduating two years ago, Kuhlman has worked in development for The Children’s Home of Cincinnati and interned at the Cincinnati Parks Foundation while also doing volunteer work with young adult ministry.
