About the Lecture
The lecture will explore the history of legal, scientific, regulatory and public responses to the growing awareness of PFAS, or “forever chemicals,” and their global threat to human health and the environment.
About the Lecturer
Rob Bilott is a partner at Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP, where he has practiced environmental and litigation law for more than 35 years. He is nationally recognized for his groundbreaking work on PFAS “forever chemicals,” recovering billions for clients impacted by PFAS exposure. His work earned him the 2017 Right Livelihood Award and inspired the book *Exposure* and the film *Dark Waters*, starring Mark Ruffalo. A 1990 graduate of Ohio State’s Moritz College of Law, Bilott is a frequent lecturer and keynote speaker on PFAS, environmental law and public health.
